Anna S. Chmura

(1919-2013) - Anna S. (Markot) Chmura, 93, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 10, 2013.  Born in Ware, daughter of the late Peter and Zofia (Niejadlik) Markot, she lived in East Longmeadow most of her life and was a retired employee of the Phelon Machine Shop.  She was also a member of the East Longmeadow Senior Citizens.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Chmura and a son, Thomas J. Chmura in 2011. She leaves a daughter-in-law, Rita Chmura of Suffield. 

A service will be Wednesday at 2pm in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street.  There are no calling hours and Agawam Funeral Home is in charge.
