Anne E. Cosgrove

(1933-2013) - Anne E. (Sanborn) Cosgrove, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 18, 2013.  Born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Herbert and Cora (Janney) Sanborn, she lived in Wilbraham for many years before recently moving to Westfield.  Anne worked for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.  She was a former member of the United Church of Christ in Wilbraham, where she also was a secretary and sang in their choir.  She also played piano and loved little children. 

She leaves a son, David V.E. Carman of Vacaville, CA, three daughters, Laurel A. Carman of Southwick, Holly J. Sanborn of Sherwood, OR, Susan Welcome of Columbus, OH, two sisters, Jane J. Ergood of Athens, OH, Barbara S. Yeager of Agawam, six grandchildren, Heather, Brooke, Grant, Daniel, Joseph, Morgen and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew. 

The burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Friends of the Feline Cat Sanctuary, Box 174, Feeding Hills, MA 01030.
