Gloria Pereira

(1920-2012) - Gloria Pereira, 91, of Indian Orchard, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in San Jurge, Chaves, Portugal, daughter of the late Bernardino and Albina (Tome) Pereira; she has lived in Indian Orchard for the past 12 years. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Jose Dias; a loving mother to Albina Rosa Dias Dos Reis and Maria Gracinda Dias; a cherished grandmother of Gloria and Antonio da Silva, Gina, Joe, Diane, David, Daniel, Fernando, Michael, Christina and Tiago dos Reis; and adoring great-grandmother of Bruno da Silva, John and Andre Moura, Tiago, Sonia and Jason Rivera, Claudia and Claudio Cardaropoli, Manuel, Rosabella, Jessica, Geremia, Lucas Dos Reis, Saleina , Josiah, Xaiden Dos Reis. Victor, Veronica, and Jacob Paulino. Funeral services are on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at 11am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12pm in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church followed by burial in St. Aloy sius Cemetery.
