(1914-2013) - Lawrence Pisano, 98, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Born in Agawam, son of the late Anthony and Ruby (St. John) Pisano, Larry was a lifelong resident of Agawam.  He had worked as a machinist for over thirty-seven years at Pratt & Whitney, retiring in 1976.  He was an auxiliary police officer for the Town of Agawam for over forty years and then was the Agawam Town Constable for over thirty years.  Larry was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and loved spending his winters in Florida.  He was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. 

Larry loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed.  His wife, Letizia (Asta-Ferrero) Pisano died on Nov. 24, 2011. He leaves four sons, Lawrence Pisano of Feeding Hills, Richard E. Pisano of Westfield, David A. Pisano and Donald J. Pisano both of Feeding Hills, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Pisano and three sisters, Mary Tassinari, Rose Viecelli and Carmela Cantrel.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 8am from the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street, with a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 9. The burial will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7pm.
