Lois S. Peacey

(1959-2012) - Lois S. (Rankin) Peacey, 52, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, she spent her early years there and in Becket before moving to Ludlow in 1984. She loved camping and boating, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Lois was the beloved wife of 27 years to William “Bill” Peacey; a loving mother to Jeremiah “Jay” Peacey, of Springfield, William “Billy” Peacey Jr. , and wife Melissa, of Gulf Port MS, and Scott Peacey and wife Jennifer, also of Gulf Port, MS; an adoring grandmother to Brooke, Madison, Tucker, Jackson, and the late Colt; a dear sister to Richard Rankin, Barbara Carra, both of Springfield, Donald Rankin, of New Hampshire, and the late Bruce Rankin; and also leaves several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Services for Lois will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Visiting hours are from 4-6:45pm at Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Services concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00pm.
