Mary F. Ferranti

(1917-2012) - Mary F. (Rossi) Ferranti, 95, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in West Springfield, daughter of the late Paul and Angelina (DelNegro) Rossi, she lived in West Springfield before moving to Agawam.  Mary worked as an assembler for over twenty-five years at the John Breck Company in West Springfield.  She enjoyed bowling at the Agawam Bowl and bowled on area leagues.  She was an avid Red Sox fan. 

Her husband, Vincent E. Ferranti died in 1964.  She leaves two daughters and their husbands, Joan M. and James Cardaropoli, Phyllis J. and Angelo Polumbo all of Feeding Hills, four grandchildren, James, Vincent, Jenna and her husband James, Terriann, four great-grandchildren, Delaney, James, Quinn, Marissa, a Goddaughter, Sandi Blanchard, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, William Rossi, and two sisters, Theresa Longey and Carmella Calcidise. 

The funeral will be Friday at 10am at the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 8:30-10am.
