Rene J. Roy

(1956-2012) - Rene J. Roy, 56, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Armand and Anita (Roy) Roy, he lived there most of his life before moving to West Springfield.  Rene worked as a mason contractor. 

He leaves two brothers, Ronald Roy of West Springfield, Armand Roy of Springfield, three sisters, Jeanne Deyo of Feeding Hills, Lucille Gagnon and Rita Ferrero both of Springfield, and several nephews and nieces. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Friday at 1pm at Sacred Heart Church, 1103 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. There are no calling hours and Agawam Funeral Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
