Robert J. Michalski

(1932-2013) - Robert J. Michalski, 78, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 17, 2013.  Born in Ware, son of the late Michael and Charlotte (Lewandowski) Michalski, he grew up in West Brookfield and moved to Agawam thirty years ago.  Robert served on the Board of Health in Ware.  He was employed by Adams & Ruxton, the Southern State of Agway and was a member of the Laborers Local 999.  Robert enjoyed football, ice hockey, fishing, gardening, hunting and spending time with his family and church family.  He loved animals as well.  He also attended Bethany Assembly of God.

He leaves his wife, Virginia E. “Ginny” (Ellis) Michalski, a daughter, Pamela A. Michalski of Lyndhurst, OH, three step-daughters, Holly R. Kinnell-Rust of South Hadley, Connie R. McKinney of Carthage, MO, Valerie J. Stauber of Holyoke, a brother, Michael Michalski of Pulaski, NY, a sister, Mary Michalski of Belchertown, 10 step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11am at Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main Street.  The burial will be private. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-11am at the church. Agawam Funeral Home is in charge.
