Debate countdown underway

BOCA RATON, Fla. (NBCNC) - The third and final presidential debate will be held tonight in Boca Raton, Florida.

The focus is foreign policy.

The final debate will look somewhat different from the previous two.

The candidates will be seated, with no notes or props as they discuss America's role in the world.

Observers expect Governor Romney to once again press the president on two weeks of inconsistencies about who was behind the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya.

NBC's latest poll shows the race deadlocked, with each candidate holding 47 percent of likely voters.

President Obama had a five-point lead among likely voters in that same poll last month.

He still has a slight lead among registered voters.
