WASHINGTON, D.C. (NCDC) - One of the government's weapons against racial discrimination is facing a challenge in the Supreme Court.
The constitutionality of the Voting Rights Act is before the Supreme Court of the United States in Shelby County v. Holder, but the path to protect the right to vote for all Americans dates back to the 1800s.
