Powerball: Who won?

(NBCNC) - By the time of last night's drawing in the Powerball lottery, $1.1 billion in tickets had been sold.

Powerball officials say there were two tickets with the winning numbers of 5-16-22-23-29 with a Powerball of 6, one sold in Missouri, the other in Arizona.

The winners haven't come forward.

When they do they'll split the $587-million jackpot.

This Powerball drawing also made dozens of others millionaires, too, which is why officials are advising "don't tear up your ticket just yet."

"We had actually 58 people that matched all five of the white balls for one million dollars in cash. So, I wouldn't want to be tearing anything up until you knew for sure what you had for a winner," says Florida Powerball's Sue Dooley.

In addition, there were eight $2 million winning tickets drawn.
