CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - It's been five months since 20-year-old Amanda Plasse was brutally stabbed to death at her apartment in Chicopee.
Sunday was the first time Amanda's mom Michelle went back to where her daughter was found, at 73 School Street. She told 22News the case is running cold.
Now family and friends are desperate for answers. They've released new photos of Amanda which show her tattoos, something Michelle was hesitant to do at first because she didn't want people to stereotype her daughter. "It was just her way to express her artwork, her personality, and she's definitely recognized by those tattoos as beautiful as they were," said Michelle Mathieson.
Amanda worked at Friendly's and Applebees in Chicopee. She was murdered the Friday before Tropical Storm Irene.
If you have any information you're asked to contact Chicopee Police.
