WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) - A Waterbury Connecticut teacher's death in the Bahamas remains a
mystery, and police are giving conflicting statements.
The acting commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force
says police are investigating 30-year-old Tim Massa's death as
suspicious, but the assistant police superintendent says foul play
is not suspected.
Massa's body was found Monday night floating in a marina near
the Atlantis hotel and resort. How he died has not been determined.
Chris Massa says his two brothers and their friends partied
most of Saturday into Sunday morning.
He says Tim Massa went back to his hotel room at about 1
a.m., but he was nowhere to be found when the rest of the group
returned to the hotel about four hours later.
Tim Massa, a Naugatuck native, was a gym teacher at
Waterbury Arts Magnet School.
