HOLYOKE, Mass. (AP) - Holyoke superintendent has announced that the 15-year-old boy who was found in West Virginia with his teacher earlier this week will be educated in another community.
Superintendent Eduardo Carballo said Thursday the boy's family has agreed to have the state Department of Social Services temporarily take custody of the boy and arrange for him to go to school in another community.
Earlier this week, police apprehended 24-year-old teacher Lisa Lavoie and the boy in Morgantown, W.Va. after the boy was reported missing.
Lavoie is being held on charges of child endangerment.
