(WWLP) - The nation's recession is affecting America's favorite pastime of baseball.

A new national survey reveals that 45% of baseball fans agree that the cost of tickets, concessions, and parking are simply too much for today's tough times.

Red Sox games are some of the most expensive in the league. Tickets will run you anywhere from 12 dollars for bleachers, 50 dollars for the infield seats, 125 for field box seats, and a whopping 325 dollars for dugout box seats.

A hot dog or a soda will cost you 4 dollars, and if you want a cold one, a beer will set you back 7 dollars.
