Hasbro launches Children's Giving Tree

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Tis' the season of giving and Hasbro is doing its part to give back to the community.

The East Longmeadow-based toy maker has launched its annual holiday campaign, the Children's Giving Tree now on display at Eastfield Mall in Springfield.

The program provides toys, games and food over the holidays to underpriviledged children in the Springfield area.

Hasbro encourages the community to get involved by bringing non-perishable food items to the mall which will be donated to Rachel's Table.

The Children's Giving Tree campaign runs from November 25 through December 12th.

This marks the program's 24th year.
