MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (WWLP) - A missing Holyoke teacher and her 15-year-old male student have been located in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Holyoke Mayor Michael Sullivan told 22News State Police apprehended 24 year-old Lisa Lavoie at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
She is being held on charges of child endangerment and is scheduled for a rendition hearing on Tuesday afternoon.
Mayor Sullivan says arrangements are being made to return the 15 year-old boy to Holyoke that was traveling with her.
Neither are reportedly injured.
According to Mayor Sullivan the boy's mother contacted the Maurice Donahue Elementary School on Feb. 13, saying she was concerned her teenage son was having an affair with Lavoie. Police went to question the teacher later that afternoon, but she had already left for the day.
The male student was reported missing on Feb. 16.
