HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - President George W. Bush and President-elect Barack Obama have both achieved the country's highest elective office.
And that, say many, is where their similarities end.
With under two weeks left in office, President Bush has a 35% approval rating while President-elect Obama's rating doubles that at 70 percent, according to a recent Gallup poll.
John Baick, a history professor at Western New England College said our country hasn't seen a president this popular since Ronald Reagan.
Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United
States January 20th.
