TURNERS FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) - A family from Turners Falls was forced out of their home after fire broke out in the historic church building where they were living.
Montague fire officials have confirmed it's the former Saint
Anne's Rectory on 25 6th St.
The fire broke out just before 4p.m. Monday afternoon.
Nearby residents told 22News that they could see flames
shooting out of the building's windows.
There are no reports on any injuries or how the fire started.
John anctil bought the church and rectory about a year ago to
create a film school, fine music and production studio.
He was was reviewing building plans in the former church when
his stepson ran in and said there was a fire in his bedroom in the
church
