GOSHEN, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News crews are dispersed throughout Western Massachusetts collecting footage of all the destruction from last night's ice storm.
If you drive into downtown Northampton it doesn't look that bad, but if you head up Route 9 toward Goshen it’s another story.
Traveling on Route 9, tree limbs were falling left and right. The road is actually closed but 22News was allowed through to shoot some video.
We spoke with one who has lived in Goshen since the 1960's. They told 22News they have never seen anything quite like this.
The Walden family told 22News they have trees down everywhere including on their home and on their cars. Rescue crews are asking people to stay home if they can so crews can clear the tree limbs from the streets.
