The asthma medications Serevent and Foradil don't have a clear benefit in children, according to a review of published studies.
Right now these drugs are recommended as add-on therapies to traditional inhalers.
While researchers found the drugs improved lung function, they did not have any further benefit compared to regular inhaler treatment. Experts say more studies are needed.
