Police in Fresno,California are searching for the father of a 7 year-old boy who they say was tattooed with a gang symbol against his will.

Police say 26 year-old Enrique Gonzalez held his son down while 20 year-old Travis Gorman tattooed a dog’s paw on the child’s belly, a known symbol of the Bulldog Gang.

The boy’s mother reported the crime on Monday.

On Tuesday, police arrested the Gorman, the tattoo artist, and charged him with six felonies.

But police are still searching for the boy’s father.

The Fresno Police Department and the city's Gang Prevention Initiative have offered to remove the tattoo for free.
