HOLYOKE,Mass.(WWLP) - Community health centers could benefit significantly under the President's stimulus plan.

The Holyoke Health Center is hopeful it will see an increase in funds from the stimulus and the President's future health care reform efforts.

The Holyoke Health Center has 20-thousand clients. Over the next two years $2 billion dollars will be pumped into community health centers.

This clinic hopes to get it share.

For those who use it, it serves a vital need.

Earlier this week, the President hinted that the expansion of community health centers across the country is a way to expand health care access and also take pressure off overloaded hospital emergency rooms.
