BOSTON (WWLP) - While the newly approved budget may not be good news for restaurant owners and their customers, but there is some good news for those commuting on the Mass Pike.

The plan is slated to use $275 million to prevent planned toll increases on the pike.

Still, drivers who use the turnpike have mixed opinions on the alleged savings.

"Its nice," says Christopher Dion of Chicopee. "I think they should eliminate the tolls all together from Worcester back."

On the other hand, Natalie Partridge of West Springfield says she's not entirely against the idea of toll increases. "If it wasn't a big increase I wouldn't mind. It goes to the good of the whole. You have to pay for it somehow."

The biggest concern drivers stated was that they want to make sure the road is well maintained.
