COLORADO (WWLP) - A recall on ground beef from Colorado is being expanded from 41 thousand pounds to 380 thousand pounds.
J-B-S Swift Beef Company is recalling the beef because of possible e.coli contamination.
The U-S-D-A says they're investigating 24 illnesses in several states.
Chandler Keys with J-B-S Swift tells 22NEWS they are currently trying to track the higher risk ground beef to find out if any ended up in our area.
Local residents say they're getting frustrated with the number of food recalls, while others are just happy they're catching problems.
Trip Morse says "They're finding it, we're learning about it quickly and they're reacting a lot quicker."
Currently the USDA is investigating 18 illnesses possibly linked
to the tainted beef.
