(WWLP) - Microsoft's new search engine Bing is now live, two days ahead of schedule, available for anyone to use.
Early reviews have come back positive thus far. Searches work, the links click through, and things seem to run smoothly overall.
Bing is an update to Microsoft's previous engine, Live Search. The new updates include related content like Bing Travel, Bing Cashback and Bing Maps for Enterprise.
These reviews are a positive sign for Microsoft, which trails mightily in the search market. Google held 64 percent of all searches in April according to comScore. Microsoft's share was 8.2 percent.
Microsoft is calling Bing a "decision engine", as a way to help people search the World Wide Web more intelligently.
Go to bing.com and try it out for yourself.
