SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Wade MacLeod of the Springfield Falcons is out of the hospital. Less than 24 hours after suffering a seizure on the ice during a game.
Falcon's Forward #39 Wade MacLeod was hit into the glass surrounding the ice during the 2nd period on Sunday against the Adirondack Phantoms.
MacLeod was taken to Baystate Medical Center, but was released on Monday.
The game was stopped, and will be rescheduled on another date.
MacLeod has been tweeting on Monday.
"it was a play that is made many times throughout a hockey game. The result here was unfortunate but I am feeling much better."
