Hall Enshrinement festivities continue

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - If you’re a basketball lover, get ready, the Basketball Hall of Fame 2010 Enshrinement Ceremony is almost here.

Members of the Class of 2010 are behind him on the steps of City Hall for an Enshrinement pep rally. While the Dream Team is this year's headlining act. There are some individuals being enshrined Friday night.

They were on center court Friday morning, to receive their Basketball Hall of Fame jackets. Scottie Pippen is one of them. Pippen - the robin to Michael Jordan's batman for so many years is getting his just due.

As is Karl the Mailman Malone, the longtime Utah Jazz star never won a NBA title. Another individual going into the hall, is the late great Dennis Johnson.

Dennis Johnson's former teammate Larry Bird told 22News he was a hard worker. "During the regular season, he practiced shooting. He always said when the big games come, I'll be there. He was," said Member of the 1992 Dream Team Larry Bird.
