ADA, Ohio (NBC/NC) - The game winning ball for Sunday's Super Bowl game was made at a
factory in Ada, Ohio.
Workers at the Wilson Sporting Goods Football Factory started
making the pigskins immediately after the AFC championship game
ended.
The balls have been printed with the names of the two Super
Bowl teams, The Arizona Cardinals and The Pittsburgh Steelers, the
date of the game, and the city and state.
Wilson has made every football for all 43 Super Bowl games.
There are 132 balls for the big game and 12 of those are
kicker balls.
This Wilson plant has been making NFL footballs for 67 years.
The NFL is the only major sports league whose balls are
manufactured in the United States.
