CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The NHL and players' union have a tentative agreement to end the lockout.
NHL talks continued Saturday.
Labor negotiations kicked off again with the union meeting with NHL officials for the first time in three days.
Federal Mediator Scot Beckenbaugh made the case for the two-sides to meet face to face.
The league has already canceled all games through January 14th along with the All Star game.
With Bettman's January 11th deadline looming to save a 48-game season, the negotiations have reached a crucial week.
