SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - More than 100 teams from across the country are competing in the Basketbull, Hall of Fame national invitational in Springfield.
While the hoophall classic brings together some of the best high school teams in the country, this has the best 17 and under AAU travel teams. They're all all-star teams.
College coaches like Louisville's Rick Pitino and UMass head coach Derek Kellogg were keeping a close eye on some top talent.
UMass even dontated its court so they could have side by side action. Kellogg says that, plus players coming to Western Mass is a benefit for his program.
