Basketball schedule taking shape

AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - The UMass men's basketball team will host one of four regionals in the 2009 Legends Classic in late November. The Minutemen will join fellow regional hosts Florida, Michigan State and Rutgers in the Legends Championship Rounds to be held at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Nov. 27-28.

UMass will host two games at the Mullins Center against teams too be announced between Nov. 18-22. More information will come at a later date. The Championship Rounds in Atlantic City should be the first of two trips for UMass to Boardwalk Hall as the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championships return to the venue again.

The rest of the UMass basketball schedule is starting to take shape.  Baylor released its schedule and has a home date with UMass in January.
