Sewer repairs on Dwight Street

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Crews have started replacing sewer lines and water pipes in the North End of Springfield and the construction is expected to created some traffic problems.

The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is doing work on Dwight Street between Dover Street and Waverly Street between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The work will continue Monday through Friday until October 31.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
