Agawam Cone Zone traffic alert

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - 22NEWS has a Cone Zone traffic alert in Agawam.

The Department of Public Works has begin the construction of the first phase of a sewer expansion project.

Construction will occupy one lane of South Westfield Street(Route 187) between Route 57 and Pine Street for the next two to four weeks.

One lane of traffic will be kept open, but motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.
