Caught on Camera: Daredevil Bicyclist

SEATTLE, Wash. (KING) - Most cyclists know that freeways in metropolitan areas are illegal for them to ride on, but there has been a repeat offender who has eluded capture for years.

Traffic cameras in Seattle, Washington finally caught sight of the cyclist riding on the narrow shoulder next to the carpool lane.

Operators alerted the Washington State Patrol, but the troopers just missed him.

While biking on the freeway is illegal, troopers say that safety for the cyclist and the drivers near him is the main concern.
