ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) - Accused University of Central Florida plotter James Oliver Seevakumaran made a checklist of things to do before he attacked students early Monday morning, police said. The last item that he checked off was "pull the fire alarm," and the next task on the list was "give them hell."

Seevakumaran, 30, pulled the firearm shortly after midnight and police said all indications showed he was ready to execute students as they left the building.

He had purchased two guns online for about $700 and picked them up from a local federal firearms dealer., according to police. He had 1,000 rounds of ammunition and four explosive devices.

But he turned the gun on himself instead.

His roommate, who called 911 after seeing Seevakumaran with a gun, said he heard a "click" or "pop" while he was hiding in the bathroom.

"The fire alarm went off. I opened the door to see what was going on, and he's there with like some sort of like gun, like large assault gun. I don't know if it's a real gun," the caller told a dispatcher.
