SANFORD, Fla. (SPD) - Video of George Zimmerman being detained by police the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin has been released by the Sanford Police Department.

Zimmerman can be seen in handcuffs at the police department following the shooting.

Zimmerman, who has not been arrested or charged with anything relating to the shooting, says he shot the 17-year old in self-defense.

His attorney also says his nose was broken during a scuffle with Martin.

Martin's family claims the video is further proof that Zimmerman is lying, since none of his claimed injuries are noticeable.
