(WWLP) - A fire at a South Hadley restaurant Monday night has left only its brick walls still standing this morning.

Senator John Kerry is on the verge of being confirmed as Secretary of State today triggering the third Senate contest in Massachusetts since 20-10.

Governor Patrick has filed legislation that would eliminate mandatory life sentences without parole for anyone under 18 convicted of first-degree murder.

The fight against prostate cancer has taken another step forward.  There is hope in a new treatment that involves harvesting immune cells from patients. Those cells are then trained to attack the cancer.  Patients who get the treatment live longer and have a lower rate of death.
