(WWLP) - 22News is spotlighting a day-long effort to help raise funds for the American Red Cross Relief Effort for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Election day is next Tuesday...and the U.S. Senate campaign here in Massachusetts rolls on.

Thousands of families are hoping stem cells can reverse the impact of autism.   Children can receive infusions of their own stem cells which their bodies can't reject.    The theory is the stem cells will be able to regulate their immune systems and repair the brain.
