(WWLP) - If Congress and the White House can't come to an agreement on the automatic spending cuts  this week...major changes will be coming for people working in western Massachusetts.

Springfield Schools Superintendent Daniel Warwick has ordered an investigation into the drowning of a student at Kiley Middle School.

Hampden County District Attorney Mark Mastroianni says the accidental shooting of a Chicopee police officer is being investigated.

New "smart" A-T-Ms are giving some consumers more flexibility. These new kiosks from Chase Bank allow customers to get out just one dollar if they need to.  They can do more at this kiosk than typical A-T-Ms...like load pre-paid cards and even pay some bills.
