(WWLP) - Longmeadow firefighters had to put out a fire in a small building on the course at the Twin Hills Country Club this morning.
 
Longmeadow Fire Captain John  Frazier told 22News it looks like it's in the pump house that handles irrigation for the golf course.

Some Springfield bar and restaurant owners are willing to pay for extra police patrols.

The price of food may be on the rise, but that won't stop most people from having the occasional barbecue.  But according to the U.S.D.A., summer cookouts can make people sick.

Massachusetts will become the second state where hospitals are voluntarily banning baby formula giveaways for new mothers.  The hospitals hope to promote breast feeding and it's something more and more birth facilities are doing around the country.
