(WWLP) - Drivers in western Massachusetts will have to contend with some heavy fog on Wednesday morning, and some high winds later in the day.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties, with the advisory extending south and east into Connecticut and central and eastern portions of Massachusetts. Visibility is expected to be about a quarter of a mile or less until about 2:00 P.M.
Meanwhile, a High Wind Watch remains in effect until Thursday for all of western Massachusetts, including Berkshire County. Storms coming in from the west will bring with them heavy winds with strong gusts.
