MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) - In Eastern Hampden County, many roads remain snow covered and slippery, and that has caused some accidents.
22News Storm Team Meteorologist Adam Strzempko saw one accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike heading from Chicopee to Palmer, and saw several cars stuck and spun-out on the way down to Monson.
Farther east on the Mass Pike in Sturbridge, a viewer sent 22News a Report It photo of an armored car that had spun-out on the eastbound side of the highway.

The situation in the western Worcester Hills is far different from that in lower-lying areas like downtown Springfield and Chicopee, where accumulation amounted to only a couple of inches.
On Wales Road in Monson, on the other hand, Adam Strzempko measured 18” of snow, with the snow continuing to come down, reducing visibility. The plows are still out clearing the roads, and the continually falling snow is weighing-down many trees.
