WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - Wilbraham has the distinction of being one of the towns that had one of the highest snowfall amounts in Western Massachusetts from Saturday's storm.

According to 22News Storm Team Meteorologist Nick Bannin, eight inches of snow covered Wilbraham, as it did several of Wilbraham’s neighbors in eastern Hampden County.

Getting this much snow surprised some Wilbraham residents.

“Fell asleep It was a light powder and woke up here we are. I've been shoveling for hours, I never thought it would happen, crazy,”  said Connor Magill of Wilbraham.

Among Wilbraham's neighbors, Brimfield and Hampden dug out from 9 inches of snow and the eastern Hampden County town of Wales reported getting 12 inches from the storm.
