SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - If you weren't fed up with winter after last month's blizzard, many people are now, following this latest storm.

Yvette Ramirez of Springfield is one of them.

“Oh yes, I'm sick of it, I'm sick of the snow!" Ramirez said.

She isn't alone in her frustration, especially with the return to snow-clogged neighborhoods in the Pioneer Valley. This has meant more digging out, just when the back aches had subsided after that colossal February snowstorm.

Mike Peczka's father had been looking forward to a few rounds of golf this week.

“Oh yeah, we were all set. My father's league was all set, we were happy to start, and they were already out golfing last week, they were out for a couple of days, not anymore,” Peczka said.

Edwin Rivera had hoped that with the start of spring just a couple of weeks away, he might be spared being a hired snow shoveler for his neighbors.

“I'm working four to five hours,” Rivera said. “Yeah, it's too heavy, my job is that way around 120 feet.”

Is this winter's last gasp? We certainly hope so, but with New England weather being as famously unpredictable as it is, it's always prudent to first check with the 22News Storm Team meteorologists.
