(WWLP) - Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. this evening for much of southern New England.
Fire Weather Warning in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening for all of western Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Warning which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Precautionary/preparedness actions:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of strong winds and low relative humidity will create an elevated fire spread potential.
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Watch for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
