LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) - The little bit of rain lower parts of the Pioneer Valley received Friday morning was a welcome sign for all the thirsty lawns in our area.
However, according to the 22News Storm Team, the area didn't get enough rain, as we're still experiencing a moderate drought.
Some people were out working in their yards Friday hoping Mother Nature would deliver more rain.
“My grass isn't really that great to begin with,” Lynn Meyer of Ludlow said. “You can see my grass could use a little more. You can see my weeds are growing out of control, so it doesn't hurt the weeds at all.”
Much of the country is experiencing a drought, and many areas have been without rain even longer than us here in Western Mass.
To see if there is any more rain headed our way anytime soon, check out the 22News Storm Team Forecast .
