SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The temperatures may be mild, but after the snowstorm, many people are struggling to pay to heat their homes.
Mary Ann Koyblanski, Program Director of the New England Farm Workers' Council said that fuel assistance has been cut 25% over the past couple years, but as of now they still have plenty of money to still pay bills in Springfield.
They have spent over $3 million and still have $2.7 million left to continue paying new clients and people they haven't made payments on yet.
On 22News at 6, find out what people are doing to try and keep their home warm.
