Winter Weather Advisory in effect

(WWLP) - A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Sunday morning for Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties.

Warmer air will start to push into western Massachusetts tonight and with cold air trapped near the surface, some spotty drizzle, mist and even fog will freeze on contact with surfaces.

The Freezing drizzle/mist and freezing fog will lead to some spotty icy spots on mainly untreated surfaces. This will make for some slippery roads and sidewalks.

Things will improve for Sunday as much milder weather moves in.
