(WWLP) - Rain will spread across western Massachusetts this morning and continue through the day. Expect bouts of moderate to heavy rain at times. There is a slight chance there could be a couple isolated strong storms - something we'll keep a close eye on. This storm isn't just bringing the wet weather, but gusty winds will be along for the ride as well. We could see wind gusts over 40 MPH starting this afternoon.
A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect for Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties from 4 PM through 6 AM Wednesday.

A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be 31 to 39 MPH or gusts will range between 46 to 57 MPH.
A HIGH WIND WARNING will be in effect for Berkshire County from Noon through 6 AM Wednesday. Highest threat is this afternoon into this evening. Wind gusts up to 60 MPH. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 MPH or gusts of 58 MPH or more can lead to property damage.
